Coach Cross Country and Track & Field Coach for local school (3rd-8th grade). Very rewarding to work with young kids they are amazed to discover with a little bit of training that they can run a few miles and how running also helps them in other sports. (soccer, b-ball, football)

Mother of 4 active kids. They really do keep me running -getting them to various activities is more challenging than doing a long run sometimes!

Enjoys long runs and trail running, watching my kids play sports running/soccer/basketball etc and cooking and running with my kids.

I was very active my whole life doing, aerobics and running 5k/10k races. When my last child started first grade I had a lot of free time and started training for a marathon and I guess I just kept going. I love to run long distance it gives me a chance to relax- its good for the mind and body, I enjoy the outdoors and challenging myself -- Its amazing with a positive attitude and goals what you can accomplish in life and running.   I am truly thankful to have a supportive family and be able to compete in Ultra races.

Best Race: Hallucination 100 miler (Ann Arbor Michigan) - To have my husband and kids run the final miles of the 100 mile race with me. We all held hands and crossed the finish line together!! Wow -what a wonderful feeling and powerful moment. My kids saw how difficult the last few miles were and that with determination, and will power you can accomplish anything!
